Painted Face: Nude

Into the latest "pale" look featured in all the fashion magazines? Following are application tips and products to try:

To create a smooth pallette to create your artful look, we suggest beginning with a primer. We like Ramy's Elixir Skin Conditioning Primer to reduce redness, puffiness and smooth out your skin. Next we went with Sheer Cover's mineral foundation in Buff. To maintain a "naked" but healthy look, we applied Ramy's Miracle Hint of Tint blush in Inner Glow on the apples of the cheeks only.

Eyebrows are key to this look, so be sure to pluck any stray hairs and define the brows with an angled brow brush and brow powder like Z New York's Brow Powder--for our model, we blended shades #2 and #3. Z New York brow powders include a small brow brush for touch up's on the go!

Line the eyes with a deep, soft brown like E.L.F.'s Brightening Eye Liner in Coffee; be sure to blend well with a smudger or cotton swab. On the eye lids, begin with a light base color, all over the lid up to the brow; we LOVE Shiseido's Shadow Play in Moon Low. Next, brush a dark taupe into the crease of the eye; we used Urban Decay's Eye Shadow in Lounge. Complete the eyes with volumizing mascara, we used L'Oreal's Double Extend Lash Extender and Lash Magnifier Mascara which includes a primer and mascara--YES!

Line the lips with a flush, lip-colored pencil; we particularly like E.L.F.'s Feather Proof Moisturizing Lip Pencil in Mauve Luxe. Lipstick in a nude shade (Borghese's Lip Treatment Moisturizer in Natural is a true treat) polished with a light, shimmery gloss complete the look. The best gloss for this look is For this model, we used Too Faced Kiss Stick in Butterfly Kiss.

Have fun!
